Selling IPv4 Addresses
If your organization has unused IPv4 address space, selling it can generate significant revenue. Here is how to get the best price and ensure a smooth transaction.
Assess Your IPv4 Holdings
Before listing, understand what you have:
- Block size and CIDR notation - Know your exact allocation
- IP status - Legacy, Provider Independent (PI), or Provider Aggregatable (PA) addresses have different transfer rules
- Registry - Which RIR region your IPs are registered under
- Usage history - Clean IPs with no blacklist entries fetch better prices
Choose Your Selling Option
IPv4.center offers two selling models:
- Platform Managed: We handle the entire process including buyer matching, negotiation, contracts, and transfer coordination. A 10% commission applies.
- Self-Managed with Listing: List your IPs on our marketplace and handle buyer communication yourself. The buyer pays a 5% platform fee.
