Adding Geofeed to AFRINIC
AFRINIC (African Network Information Centre) supports geofeed through the remarks: attribute on inetnum and inet6num objects. The process is similar to other RIRs that use the RPSL (Routing Policy Specification Language) format.
Prerequisites
- An AFRINIC MyAFRINIC account with maintainer access
- A geofeed CSV file hosted on a publicly accessible HTTPS URL

Step 1: Log In to MyAFRINIC
- Go to MyAFRINIC
- Log in with your credentials
- Navigate to your IP resource management section
Step 2: Find and Edit Your Object
- Search for your inetnum or inet6num object in the AFRINIC Whois
- Click "Update" to edit the object
Step 3: Add Geofeed Attributes
Add the following to your object:
country: ZA
remarks: Geofeed https://yourdomain.com/.well-known/geofeed.csv
Step 4: Submit and Verify
- Submit the modification
- Verify via AFRINIC Whois
- Allow 24-72 hours for geolocation databases to update
