AFRINIC Region
AFRINIC serves organizations located in Africa, supporting Internet resource allocations and memberships across the region.
Step 1: Register as a Resource Member
To begin the process, you will need to register as a Resource Member through the New Membership Registration Portal. The registration process typically takes around 30 minutes.
Step 2: Submit Required Information and Agreements
After registering, complete your details in the AFRINIC portal and click the SUBMIT button. You will also need to complete the Membership Agreement.
Step 3: Documentation Preparation
While AFRINIC does not have a formal pre-approval process, you should prepare the following documentation to support your application:
- Proof that your organization and network are based in Africa.
- Valid service license or corporate registration (if applicable).
- A plan demonstrating your ability to use at least a /23 IPv4 address block within the next 8 months.
